A life-changing week at Elevate

Expectations are meant to be broken. I never imagined just how paradigm-shifting two days of Elevate would have been. This is my journey.

Trying on Microsoft’s AR HoloLens

Prior to attending the tech festival, I spent the weekend competing at Elevate Tech Jam. If you ever been to a hackathon, you know first hand the amount of grinding and sleep you get- after all, you only get 36 hours to develop your hack.

After pitching my hack on Sunday, I received a free ticket to Elevate and went home immediately to catch up on my beauty sleep😴.

Big Mistake #1

I woke up on Monday morning at a normal time and proceeded to check my phone. It read something like this:

*For Reference: Navid Leads The Knowledge Society, a human accelerator that I recently joined. In joining, I agreed to trust the TKS process- that includes following his word.

Living over an hour away, I was already too late to make it in time for the pre-Elevate meet up so I decided to just go to school, skipping the first day of Elevate.

Once again, Big Mistake.

I don’t support skipping school, however, once I experienced Elevate and realized what I was missing, I quickly regretted not going on Monday.
